Glenys is a 'London Hospital' trained nurse and midwife and has gained 20 years experience working as a nurse practitioner in general practice. During that time she treated acute health problems, managed chronic diseases, specialised in asthma and supported patients with emotional problems using orthodox medicine.
She has studied further at The College of Naturopathic Medicine in London and believes in using therapies which encourage and promote the body’s self healing mechanisms.
This was followed by clinical experience in acupuncture at The Hospital of TCM in Nanjing, China which developed her interest in eastern philosophies.
She practices a unique and individual holistic approach that integrates orthodox and complementary therapies, together with eastern and western philosophies. This is especially relevant as our body's struggle to cope with the stress and toxicity of modern life.
Detoxification therapies are fundamental to her work in promoting an optimum environment within the body to enable self healing.
