About Glenys

Glenys is a ' nurse and midwife and has gained 20 years experience working as a nurse practitioner in general practice. During that time she  treated acute health problems, managed chronic diseases, specialised in asthma and supported patients with emotional problems using orthodox medicine.

She has  studied further  at The College of Naturopathic Medicine  (CNM) in London and believes in using therapies which encourage and   promote the body’s self healing mechanisms.

This was followed by clinical experience in acupuncture at The Hospital of TCM in Nanjing, China which  developed her interest in eastern philosophies.

She is dedicated in her integrated  holistic approach that empowers the individual to achieve and maintain optimum natural health.She sucessfully integrates orthodox and complementary therapies, together with eastern and western philosophies.  This is especially relevant as our body's struggle to cope with the stress and toxicity of modern life.

Glenys is currently studying with the Faculty of Integrated Medicine, supported by the Integrated Health Trust. 

She has appeared regularly on local radio promoting Natural Health and has contributed to health articles in womens and health magazines.
